The church is a family. Therefore, coming to church is coming to your family gathering. Our desire at Hope is to integrate children into the life of the church, for children to be a part of our meetings, valued and included and discipled by the Godly example of the older church family. Dads bring their sons along to the men’s breakfasts, and daughters accompany their Mums to the ladies breakfasts. We have children present at a lot of our gatherings and our prayer is that people would feel connected to others and that they belong with us whatever their age.

On Sunday mornings we have a Sunday School group that leave part way through the service for age specific teaching. The group caters for toddlers to 9-year-olds. We look at a bible passage, sing songs, play games and do some craft. Older children are encouraged to stay in the service.

Sometimes we have special occasions. Children’s parties and seasonal events.
